The Bulletin is published quarterly by the very active Yell County Historical and Genealogical Association, P.O. Box 622, Dardanelle, AR 72834. The YCH&GA has published and for sale a cemetery survey of the entire county that includes cemeteries from surrounding counties. A marriage book also is available for purchase.

A History of Yell County was still available from the Association in 1990 for $25.00 postpaid. Current availability is uncertain.

A History of the Arkansas River Valley in the 1800's (history and pictures) was published by Dardanelle Printers, P.O. Box 327, Dardanelle, AR 72834. This history covers the counties of Conway, Crawford, Faulkner, Franklin, Johnson, Logan, Pope, and Yell.

The Pope County Library has an excellent collection of genealogical material covering Yell County, as well as surrounding counties. The branch is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:30am to 8pm; Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 6pm; Thursday from 11am - 8am; and Saturday from 8:30am to 1pm.
