The Family of Martha Herring

1. John Ball was born on April 22, 1849. He married Margarette Crosby, who was born on March 23, 1846. They were married on October 7, 1869, and they had eight children.
   1. Sarah (Sallie) was born on September 3, 1870, and died on October 11, 1898. She married Unknown Hearn. They were the parents of six children, and all died as youngsters except for Maggie

      6. Maggie, born July 18, 1895. She married Bob Noblett on April 14, 1914, He died on September 5, 1978, and she died on December 1, 1978. They were the parents of seven children.
         1. Living (F) Noblett was born on April 9, 1915. In 1933, she married Living (M) Smith. They were the parents of two children.
            1. Living (F) Smith married Living (M) Russell.

         2. Living (F) Smith was born on December 4, 1916. On August 14, 1937, she married Living (M) Cullum. They are the parents of four children.
            1. Living (M) Cullum was born on August 22, 1939. On November 30, 1958, he married Living (F) Wortheley
            2. Living (M) Cullum was born on August 22, 1944. He married Living (F) Jones on December 30, 1967.
            3. Living (M) Cullum was born on April 3, 1946. On May 2, 1966, he married Living (F) Graham.
            4. Gary Leon Cullum was born on December 11, 1956. He married Living (F) Davis on May 16, 1975.
         3. Carbin Leon Noblett was born on May 20, 1918. He died on December 7, 1978.
         4. Living (F) Noblett was born on September 16, 1923. She married Living (M) Kidd and they had four children.

         5. Living (F) Noblett was born on September 25, 1927. In 1946, she married Living (M) Kimbley. They had four children.
            1. Living (F) Kimbley was born on June 28, 1948. She married Living (M) McKinzie on November 6, 1966.
            2. Robert Glenn Kimbley was born on November 24, 1949. He died on December 28, 1968.
            3. Living (M) Kimbley was born on August 23, 1951. He married Living (F) Draney on June 8, 1971.
            4. Living (F) Kimbley was born on April 19, 1954. On April 16, 1971, she married Living (M) Puckett.
         6. Living (F) Noblett was born on December 22, 1927. On September 10, 1955, she married Living (M) Adkins. They are the parents of two children.
            1. Living (F) Adkins was born on April 24, 1956. She married Living (M) Lang on July 31, 1973.
            2. May 17, 1959, Living (M) Adkins was born.
         7. Living (F) Noblett was born on November 7, 1937.
   2. Martha Ann (Mattie) was born on October 28, 1872. She married Wade Wilson on August 1, 1895. They had seven children.
      1. Oscar was born on April 27, 1896, and died as a child on June 25, 1897.
      2. Everette was born on June 6, 1898. He married Sybil Duke and they had three children.
         1. Edward was killed in a car wreck which killed his wife
         2. His brother and sister were twins, both of whom married and has children.
      3. Leonard Wilson was born on February 12, 1902, and married Verlie Woodard. They had one son, Adrain, who married and had children. He was killed in a car wreck. After his divorce, Leonard married Myrtle Bell. They were the parents of two children.

      4. Evie Wilson was born on March 24, 1904, and married George Haston. They were the parents of four children. All of them married and had children.

      5. Zettie Wilson, who married Jack Blevins, was born on March 10, 1906. They had four children.

         3. Joe Irving Blevins was killed in the Korean War.
         4. Living (M) Blevins married and is the father of children.
      6. Mildred was born on October 5, 1908 and married Rosco Adkisson. They were the parents of two children.
         1. Living (M) Adkisson who married Living (F) Hood. They had Living (M) Adkisson on March 5, 1956. He married Living (F) Warren and they have one child. He is also the father of Living (M) Adkisson who was born on August 22, 1957, and married Living (F) Greyhouse and is the father of one child.
         2. Living (F) Adkisson married a Darrough. They had Living (M) Darrough on April 9, 1969, and Living (F) Darrough on April 22, 1973.
      7. Clifford Wilson married O'Fay Corley. They are the parents of three children.

   3. William Ball was born on February 27, 1875, and died as a youngster on January 20, 1881.
   4. Jesse Ball was born on March 20, 1877. He married three different women and had five children. By his first wife, Cleo Wilson (born in 1883 and died January 10 1906). He married her on July 10, 1902. He had two children by her.
      1. Icy Ila Ball, born April 25, 1903, married Hobart Duke on October 7, 1922. He was born on October 2, 1899 and died on February 20, 1974.
      2. Mark Ball was born on December 22, 1905, married Vadis Hunt on August 29, 1936. He died on June 20, 1975. To them were born two children.
         1. Living (M) Ball was born on April 7, 1941. He married Living (F) Cash and they have two sons.
         2. Living (M) Ball was born on March 14, 1947. His wife is Living (F) Unknown.

      After the death of his first wife, Jesse married Zeffie Jane Morrow on January 30, 1910. She was born on January 10, 1892 and died on September 6, 1917. They had two children.

      1. Virgie Opal Ball was born on October 15, 1911. On August 28, 1929, she married Sidney Otto Powers who was born on July 9, 1904. They had three children.
         1. Living (F) Powers was born on February 10, 1934. She married Living (M) Millard on July 6, 1955. They had two daughters.
            1. Living (F) Millard was born on June 1, 1957. She married Living (M) Arnold July 9, 1976. They have one son, who was born on May 22, 1978.
            2. Living (F) Millard was born April 9, 1959, and married Living (M) Calhoun on June 18, 1977. They have a daughter, born on June 26, 1979, and a son, born on September 29, 1981.
         2. Evelyn Hope Powers was born and died on July 10, 1939.
         3. Living (F) Powers was born on December 13, 1944. On February 25, 1958, she married Living (M) Thompson who was born on November 9, 1936. They have five children.
            1. Living (M) Thompson was born August 10, 1959. On July 10, 1981, he married Living (F) Moore who was born in September of 1963.
            2. Living (M) Thompson was born on November 2, 1961.
            3. Living (F) Thompson was born on December 18, 1963.
            4. Living (F) Thompson was born on June 28, 1968.
            5. Living (F) Thompson was born August 25, 1969.
      2. Lydia Lebith Ball was born to Jesse and Zeffie Ball on December 24, 1914. On August 10, 1935, she married Aubrey Phillips. They had two sons.
         1. Living (M) Phillips was born on August 2, 1931. On July 14, 1962, he married Living (F) Nedau.
         2. Living (M) Phillips was born on September 22, 1939 and married Living (F) Bowman on May 28, 1965. They have one son, born in August 1981.

         Lebith Phillips married Clark Eisenheardt after Aubrey Phillip's death, and then, after Eisenheardt's death, she married George Hammond.

      After the death of his second wife, Jesse married Viola Kelly Hunt on November 6, 1928. Jesse died April 27, 1973. Viola died July 31, 1978. They had one daughter.

      1. Mary Mauline Ball was born on May 10, 1931. On June 15, 1950, she married Living (M) Allinder. They have three children.
         1. Living (F) Allinder, born September 18, 1956. She married Living (M) Spenser on February 23, 1980. They have one son, born in June of 1981.
         2. Living (F) Allinder was born on September 18, 1957, and married Living (M) Horton on April 16, 1976. They have one one daughter, born on September 23, 1977.
         3. Living (M) Allinder was born on December 10, 1964.
   5. Annie Liza Ball was born to the John Ball's on February 11, 1879, and died January 15, 1881.
   6. Baby Ball born and died in April of 1881.
   7. Sylvia Victoria Ball was born on August 4, 1882, never married, and died July 30, 1956.
   8. Washington Irving Ball was born January 3, 1883, and married Katherine McDonnell who was his teacher on September 9, 1914. Both died on July 4, 1950.

   John Ball married Fannie Lou Ella Owens Morrow on December 6, 1906. Born on June 16, 1867, she was Zeffie Morrow's (Jesse Ball's second wife) mother.

2. The second child of Martha Ball's was William I. (Bud) Ball. He was born on November 15, 1850. He married Maggie Dewirt on September 19, 1876. She was born May 15, 1849 and died January 30, 1880. They had one son.
   1. William Marvin Ball born September 27, 1877, and died August 25, 1879.

   William's second wife was Liza Jane Holder who married him in 1880. She was born September 24, 1860. They had one adopted daughter.

3. Emily Ann was born on November 20, 1853, and died as a youngster.
4. Percy Ball was born on December 26, 1854, and married Dan Hunt. They had no children, however, because she died shortly afterward.
5. Mary Ann Ball was born on November 17, 1857, and died as a youngster.
6. G.R. Ball was born on July 15, 1859, and married Clementine Ruthledge on July 13, 1890. She was born on December 22, 1861. G.R. Ball had six children and died on August 4, 1943.
   1. Richard Gaius Ball was born on June 21, 1891, and died July 30, 1970. He married Gertrude Velma Reeves on December 27, 1913. She was born December 6, 1894. They were the parents of ten children.

   2. Ethan Ruthledge Ball was born on October 27, 1893 and died on January 29, 1963. He married Lonnie Francis Hale on March 29, 1917. She was born on September 7, 1900, and she died on December 11, 1980. They were the parents of five children.

   3. Zenas Ball was born on December 21, 1896. He lives in Slayton, Texas and is still active at the age of 85. He married and had two children. He then adopted a granddaughter. After the death of his first wife, he married again. For sixty-one years he has run a men's clothing store, which he works at daily.
   4. Angel Ball was born June 3, 1904 and died on June 4.
   5. Oma Ball was born on November 24, 1899, and died February 7, 1977. She married Jimmie B. Riddle on December 20, 1923. He was born on March 10, 1898 and died September 14, 1975. They had six children.
      1. Living (M) Riddle was born January 17, 1924, and married Living (F) Unknown.
      2. Living (F) Riddle was born on April 27, 1927, and married Living (M) Walker. They have two children.
         1. Cynthia Dale was born on September 2, 1949. She died on June 30, 1973.
         2. Living (M) Walker was born on January 19, 1961.
      3. Living (F) Riddle was born on September 11, 1929, and she married Living (M) Berry. They have three children.
         1. Living (F) Berry was born on December 14, 1954. She married Living (M) Rhodes.
         2. Living (F) Berry was born on July 14, 1964.
         3. Living (M) Berry was born on April 11, 1967.
      4. Living (M) Riddle was born on May 24, 1932. He is now divorced and has two children.
         1. Living (F) Riddle was born on August 28, 1964.
         2. Living (M) Riddle was born on August 3, 1965.
      5. Living (M) Riddle was born on October 31, 1937. He married Living (F) Unknown. They have two children.
         1. Living (F) Riddle was born on April 19, 1969.
         2. Living (F) Riddle was born on May 15, 1972.
      6. Living (F) Riddle was born on September 14, 1940, and married Living (M) Unger. They had three children.
         1. Living (F) Unger was born on May 17, 1968.
