On the Sugar Grove Cemetery of Logan County, Arkansas page you show a listing for a Henderson:

There is no marker as neither of them are buried there. If someone is buried there it would be an infant child.

James Philander Henderson and Margaret (Buttram) Henderson are buried in Amarillo, Texas.

Margaret's father, Jacob Buttram, gave the land for Sugar Grove and is buried in Hereford, Texas.

Jacob died and left his land to his daughter and granddaughters with the granddaughters getting the Texas land and Margaret getting the land in Logan County, Arkansas.

Margaret died with no will, so I guess the State of Arkansas got the land for back taxes as she never sold it to my knowledge. A lake has been built there where his home place was or that is what I've been told.

I have seen the land deed in the Deaf Smith County Courthouse showing it being transfered to Margaret. Relatives and friends lived in the houses so Margaret did nothing of the land.

I am the great grandson of James & Margaret (Buttram) Henderson.
