April 31, 1921 - The baccalaureate sermon for Wilmar High School will be preached May 8 by the Rev. J.L. Hoover of Crossett. The graduating exercises will be held May 13, when the following will receive diplomas: Lois Allison, Farrel K. Biggs, Marvin E. Bird, Florence Dickson, Ethel Hilliard, Van B. Joyce, Eddie May Smith and Zelma Gladys Wright.

Oct. 26, 1921 - Funeral services for Mrs. Scottie Knox, wife of George A. Knox, vice president of the American Bank of Commerce and Trust Company, who died Monday at Jacksonville, Ill., where she had been a patient in a sanitarium for several months, will be held at Monticello this afternoon. The body will pass through here this morning about 7 o'clock over the Missouri Pacific en route to Monticello. Mr. Knox has gone to Jacksonville and will accompany the body.
