Legal Notice:
Burks, Jordan & Co., Plaintiff
vs.
William H. Isam, Defendant

Comes said plaintiff by attorney, and said defendant having not plead to or otherwise answered plaintiff's demand herein. It is ordered by the court that he be notified by publication of this order in some newspaper printed in the State of Arkansas, for six weeks before the next term of this court, of the pendancy of this suit, which is an action of debt by attachment for the sum of three hundred and twenty-one dollars and thirty-six cents; and an attachment has been issued against his estate, and unless he appear in person or by attorney, on or before the third day of this court, at a court to be begun and holden on the first Monday after the fourth Monday in September, 1866, that judgment will be entered against him and his property sold to satisfy the same.

William J. Grant, Defendant

Comes the plaintiffs by attorney, and said defendant, William J. Grant, herein having not plead to or otherwise answered plaintiff's action herein. It is therefore ordered by the court that he be notified of this order by publication in some newspaper printed and published in the State of Arkansas, for six weeks before the next term of this court, of the pendency of this suit, which is an action of assumpset by attachment for the sum of one hundred and fifteen dollars and fifty cents, with interest; and that an attachment has been issued against his estate, and unless he appear in person or by attorney, on or before the third day of this court, at a court to be begun and holden on the first Monday after the fourth Monday in September, 1866, that judgment will be entered against him and his property sold to satisfy the same. And on motion this cause is continued.

It is ordered by the court that she be notified by publication of this order in some newspaper printed in the State of Arkansas, for six weeks before the next term of this court, of the pendancy of this suit, which is an action of debt by attachment for $482.09, and an attachment has been issued against her estate, and unless she appear in person or by attorney, on or before the 3d day of this court, at a court to be begun and holden on the first Monday after the 4th Monday in September, 1866, that judgment will be entered against her and her property sold to satisfy the same.

John McNeely, Plaintiff
vs.
Edward B. Lindsey, Defendant

Comes the plaintiff by attorney, and the defendant, Edward B. Lindsey, herein having not plead to or otherwise answered plaintiff's action herein. It is therefore ordered by the court that he be notified of this order, by publication in some newspaper printed in the State of Arkansas, for six weeks before the next term of this court, of the pendency of this suit, which is an action of debt by attachment on a note of defendants to plaintiffs order for $1549-16-100, dated Dec 8th , 1860, due January 1st, 1862, with 10 per cent interest from maturity: and an attachment has been issued against his estate, and unless he appear in person or by attorney, on or before the 3d day of this court, at a court to be begun and holden on the first Monday after the 4th Monday in September, 1866, that judgment will be entered against him and his property sold to satisfy the same. And on motion this cause is continued.

John R. Montgomery, Defendant

Comes the plaintiff by attorney, and the said John R. Montgomery, the defendant herein, having not plead to or otherwise answered to plaintiff's action herein, and it appearing that said defendant is a non-resident; it is therefore ordered by the court that he be notified by publication of this order in some newspaper printed in the State of Arkansas, for six weeks before the next term of this court, of the pendency of this suit, which is an action of petition in debt by attachment for $140, and that an attachment has been issued against his estate, and unless he appear in person or by attorney, on or before the 3d day of this court, at a court to be begun and holden on the first Monday after the 4th Monday in September, A.D. 1866, that judgment will be entered against him and his property sold to satisfy the same.

It is ordered by the court that he be notified by publication of this order in some newspaper printed in the State of Arkansas, for six weeks before the next term of this court, of the pendancy of this suit, which is an action of debt by attachment for the sum of five hundred and eleven dollars and thirty-nine cents, with interest, and an attachment has been issued against his estate, and unless he appear in person or by attorney, on or before the third day of this court, at a court to be begun and holden on the first Monday after the fourth Monday in September, 1866, that judgment will be entered against him and his property sold to satisfy the same.

Married - On Tuesday the 3d of July, 1866, by the Rev. J.M. Carr, at the residence of D.S. Wells, in Drew Co., Ark., Mr. John F. Bussey, of New Orleans, La., to Mrs. Jane Wallace, of Baton Rouge, La.

Died - In the town of Monticello, on the morning of the 2d inst, Turner N., infant son of S.L. and Nancy Murry, aged four months and 12 days.
